Irina Shabayeva's 2012 Collection @ Mercedes Benz Fashion Week
Last month is a bbblurrr, primarily because I was down for the count with pneumonia, (I don't even know how that happened) but we had an exciting month and our team did an amazing job without me. Janeen Saltman from JKS events (www.jksevents.com) brought us on board to perform for designer Irina Shabayeva's 2012 Fall Collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at the Eventi Hotel. http://irinashabayeva.com/
She showcased her couture bridal collection that was super sexy & sweet which she coupled with her edgy accessories. So as a backdrop, Irina wanted some romantic chamber music that sequed into more contemporary pop repertoire, with beautiful players. Perfect fit.
The photos are courtesy of the multi-talented Dina Regine. (yes! DJ Dina Regine - check out her interview in Spring/Summer edition of NY Weddings Magazine) http://www.djdinaregine.com

For this week I bring you one of my own original productions that has just hit stores for pre-sale today! "You Send Me" is a song that I am categorizing as tropical house, poly rhythmic tribal drums fill the breakdowns accompanied by uplifting melodies and smooth female vocals. The song was released by Open Bar Music, the iconic Soulful House record label based in New York City and has been supported by the label owner Oscar P. The release comes just in time for the Winter Music Conference in Miami, which is the biggest industry event for electronic music with epic parties lasting all week.

Today I am bringing you an especially beautiful tune "One Day" by Londy, a rising producer currently based in Cleveland, Ohio but originally from Jamaica. Londy has a unique style to his production that can be heard on all of his tunes and ultimately captures the listener and has been getting him fans at home and abroad. One Day is a lush tune filled with dubby chords, soulful vocals, and groovy beat that instantly chills the listener. "One Day" was originally released on Valentines Day, on Londys 4 track EP "Distant Love" that can be downloaded for free at http://soundcloud.com/londydnb.
